"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
Matthew 28:19-20
Our Heart for Missions
Here at Grace, we desire to reach others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ... not just here in Joplin, but also in other parts of the US and around the world. The organizations and missionaries we support are a vital part of Gospel Advancement and we are blessed to partner with them in seeing that happen. In addition to supporting existing ministries, one of our goals for the future at Grace is to have three new missions starting out of our church in the next 10 years. Those new missions could be Church Plants or someone from our church going into Full-time Missions. We desire to be a part of reaching Joplin, Missouri, the US, and around the World with the Gospel. Will you partner with us on this? Let us know and we can help you get connected.
As a church, our main work in missions consists of Relational, Financial, and Prayer Support. Relationally, we invite Missionaries and Organizational Leaders to come visit in person or via Zoom to explain or update us on their Mission. This helps give our people a personal connection. We also like to Volunteer as a group at Local Missions and have goals of taking short-term mission trips to encourage and help our Global Missionaries in their ministries. Throughout the year, Grace sends out care packages full of their “favorites” for those who are serving globally. Financially, we support most of our mission work through monthly giving. Missions is vital to our church, and we are committed to giving 10% of the income we receive at Grace directly to mission work, along with any individual contributions donated specifically for that purpose. Prayerfully, we stay in contact with our Missionaries to know their needs, and our church actively prays for them. We always are looking forward to hearing an update to know how God worked and moved to meet their needs.

We support a variety of mission works in three main catergories. INREACH - this is our mission work to the church... to those God has given us to care for... our Grace Family. OUTREACH - this is our mission work to the community... helping local organizations that minister to the homeless and to those in crisis... and loving our neighbors right where they are. BEYOND - this is our mission work to the world... by partnering with Gospel Centered Organizations and Missionaries in the US and around the world... including new missionaries that are just entering the mission field. Below is more detailed information on each area, as well as profiles of our current Missionaries that we have partnered with.
Inreach - Our Mission to the Church
It all begins with loving God and loving people... this builds unity and trust for the future.
Reaching in and growing up in Jesus Christ! Growing in Jesus encompasses so many different avenues: salvation, discipleship, fellowship, relationship building, teaching, leading, renewing, prayer and the list goes on from there. As Christians, we need to continually be striving to grow in Jesus. When Jesus was walking on this earth, He had a group of 12 that He continually poured into. At Grace, we desire to pour into and come along side of our brothers and sisters in Christ and “encourage one another and build one another up!” (1 Thessalonians 5:11) We offer One-on-One Discipleship, Prayer Groups, LifeGroups, Fellowship and Service Opportunities, Bible Studies, Worship and so much more! We desire to see to the Lord “high and lifted up” (Isaiah 6:1) within Grace, as we strive to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior! (2 Peter 3:18)
Outreach - Our Mission to Joplin
One thing we can do better than anyone else in the world: Love our neighbors!
Fun, inclusive, outrageous, new, fresh, friendly… this is how we strive to do Outreach at Grace! We want to have a great time while developing new relationships, restoring old relationships, and continuing to cultivate existing relationships that have lasted for years. We love our Church, our Community, and World that God has entrusted to us. This is where He wants us to “go” (Matthew 28:19). So while we are going, doing, and sharing the GOSPEL with our neighborhood and community, we would like to invite you to be a part of the FuN!
We have several local Ministries that we partner with in our efforts to reach Joplin. Ministries like Watered Gardens, Souls Harbor, Life Choices and Rapha House are all committed to sharing the Gospel and meeting the needs of our neighbors here in Joplin. Join us in partnering with them as we all love our neighbors!

Beyond - Our Mission to the World
We are called to take the GOSPEL to everyone... not only at home, but around the world.
From Church Planters to Pastors to Medical Missionaries and more... we are committed to seeing the Gospel presented globally. Some of our Missionaries are called to a specific country... others are called to specific people groups... but we are all called to take the Gospel to the world. We have been blessed to partner with many missionaries over the years, and have had the opportunity to be on mission in Mexico, Haiti, and look forward to more opportunities in the future. Partner with us as we take the Gospel to the world!
Current BMAA Missionaries We Support
We are serious about Missions at Grace. We have had each of these families come and share their stories and we love to support them on their journey with the GOSPEL!
Tyler & Emily
Missionaries to Argentina
Tyler and Emily are called to Full-time Missions in Argentina. They would love for you to join them on their journey to take Christ to the nations... through prayer and financial support. They are excited for the opportunity to take the GOSPEL to South America.
Bryan & Pam
Missionaries to Romania
Bryan and Pam serve as our missionaries to Romania. They were approved in 2017 as Missionaries, and relocated their whole family to Romania in 2018 as Full-time Missionaries. Pray for them as the whole family lives out the GOSPEL with their neighbors in Romania.
Filomeno & Lisa
Missionaries to Philippines
From Hawaii to the Philippines, this family has followed God's lead and are living to make disciples for Him. The harvest is plentiful in this Asian-Pacific nation, so continue to pray for them as they serve the Lord and share the GOSPEL.
Sara
Missionary to Romania
Sara will be serving in Romania with the Bryan and Pam. God has been preparing her for the mission field for many years. She’s on the field now and she is going strong. Pray for her as she puts her passion for sharing the GOSPEL to work.
Jesse & Rebecca
Church Planters to Texas
Jesse and Rebecca are planting a church in the fast growing area of Round Rock, Texas. Jesse has made several good connections with other pastors in the area. The population there grows faster than the churches, essentially getting rid of any competition between churches. Pray for them as they share the GOSPEL with their new neighbors in Texas.
